Do you have to get in shape for Pattaya or wait to become more fit?
NO!
In Pattaya you will notice hundreds of men from all over the world who are not in good shape at all.
Many are fat. Some, extremely obese with many in the skinny-fat category. Many are old, some with extremely spindly legs and arms and many are frail.
Some have multiple issues – ponderous bellies supported by spindly legs and skinny arms.
But there are also fit men too. Some are jacked...muscular from weight training and easily obtained steroids. Some are lean and fit from running and cardio.
Many men just look normal.
What they all have in common is being in Pattaya to enjoy what it has to offer.

Muscles, a flat belly and obvious signs of fitness are desired by women the world over.
Soi 6 is famous for hundreds of early 20something Thai ladies packed in the bars and crowding out into the street. I was in a Soi 6 bar enjoying a drink with a stunning Thai lady when a US naval ship docked and dozens of young, fit US navy servicemen started roaming the street. The ladies went crazy for them. Pawing and fawning all over them.
Navy Ship docking in Pattaya for some R & RIt didn’t bother me. That’s life. I used to be younger and much more lean too.
I was 59 years old, and although I weight train and have a lot of muscle, it is mostly covered in fat. The navy guys were friendly and bought me some drinks and we partied a bit, laughing at and marveling at videos they showed me of their military maneuvers they did out in the Southeast Asian jungles.
Their goal was to hit as many bars as possible that night on their short R & R break and after guzzling another round of shots, they moved on to the next bar to drink the night away. I stayed, continuing to enjoy sitting with and getting to know the extremely gorgeous Thai lady I had met before they arrived.
Don't put off your trip or get anxious if you not in great shape.
The most critical thing to do is get to Pattaya and enjoy it. You need time, money and enough vitality. Go whether you are fit or not.
To get the most out of your Pattaya trip, you will want to get up, get going and expend a lot of energy having the best time of your life.
All of this under a hot sun during the day.
At night, you will expend enormous amounts of energy partying like a young man, drinking more than you should, roaming from bar to bar, meeting ladies, listening to live music, dancing and maybe even enjoying real fun with the ladies until deep into the night before staggering back to your hotel to crash.
This is what I do every night of my Pattaya trips. Granted, this pace may be too much for some. If so, just take a night off or slow things way down.
What is hard to get used to is your face getting tired from smiling all the time:)
Basic mobility is critical. If you cannot walk longer distances due to some medical condition (deteriorated heart or lungs, broken leg, needing assistance with a walker or wheelchair, etc.), don't go.
With all the required walking, the lack of sidewalks, the extent of traffic to dodge and the stairs you need to climb, if you are impaired, it would be a nightmare.
You don't have to be in great shape to enjoy Pattaya. I am not. I don't have any serious issues yet that hinder my traveling.
You can back down, hang around the hotel a bit more, get your sleep, take naps and take opportunities to slow down, sit and rest when you go out. There are plenty of places to sit down and rest.
Don't worry about that.
Me, getting ready to go out. My shirt hides my large bellyI took my first 5 trips to Pattaya when I was in my late 50’s with much less energy than in my 40’s. But I felt good enough to do what I like, even though I am considerably overweight.
I explore the City by day and party every night.
Here are the main things I do to maintain decent vitality:
I have stumbled onto a vitamin and supplement regimen that works for me. I rarely suffer from the cold or flu.
Obviously, do your research as I did mine to get to this point.
Every morning:
Every evening right after a meal:
Twice a week – Monday and Friday morning:
I do get in the sun as often as I can to work on my color. Sun exposure seems to help me feel very well in the summertime. I try to avoid getting sunburned or staying in the sun too long.
I bring all these supplements with me to Pattaya and take them as normal.
At the first sign of a cold or flu...sneeze, cough, sniffling nose, or throat tickle...I immediately swallow these 2 pills with a full glass of water:
This treatment works surprisingly well.
If I'm not at home with ready access to these pills, I suffer with the symptoms until I get home. Since I missed my opportunity to stop the illness, I need to keep taking the treatment over and over until the symptoms subside.
It looks like this.
Every hour until bedtime:
Note that large doses of Vitamin C will eventually create a large, wet, runny bowel movement. My research says to stop the Vitamin C at this point, you've had all your body can tolerate.
The garlic pills come in an odorless form but are hard to find. I just chug them down with a full glass of water to avoid the smell.
You can buy vitamin C in Pattaya at the 7 - 11's and pharmacies. I'm not sure about the garlic pills.
I try to go to Pattaya as well-rested and healthy as possible. I cut back on drinking and junk food at home for the last few weeks before a trip. I am more careful in the weight room to try to avoid injury.
Even though I'm exhausted from the flight, I go out the first night. I may even feel good the next day or 2. But I usually feel quite rundown after the first 3 days or so.
When I get rundown or feel sick, I:
Being a bit more fit will help you to maximize your Pattaya experience by:
All this provides you more energy to meet more Thai ladies:)
But, you don't have to get in shape for Pattaya. Don't postpone your trip because you are worried about how the ladies see you. It’s your vacation in paradise. Make it about you.
Once you've been to Pattaya the first time, you will be motivated to go back as soon as possible and will figure out how to best prepare for the next trip. And that may include getting in better shape.
